“Sustainability = Equity” is a lecture featuring Mike Pyatok, FAIA, Principal of Pyatok Architects and Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the University of Washington. He has served as a professor of architecture and design at the University of Washington, Harvard University, and Arizona State University. From 2004 to 2007, he also served as the Founding Director of the Stardust Center for Affordable Homes and the Family at Arizona State University, leading their efforts to develop demonstrations of sustainable design and affordable housing. At the heart of Mike’s work is the participatory design process he uses to deeply involve residents, community members, and stakeholders in the revitalization of low-income communities.
Please join us at the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center in Glasgow Hall starting at 6:00pm. Reception to follow in the Korach Gallery. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
