<p>TRANSIT TALK will feature a small panel of local transit advocates and professionals that will facilitate a conversation on transit issues in Miami.  The upcoming <a href="http://www.transitmiami.com/miami-dade-transit/transit-talk-pre-summit-summit">Transportation Summit </a>(a separate event happening on June 6th) is a key topic &#8212; this pre-summit summit will provide information on what to expect and how to most effectively address transit issues.  Other topics of interest include pedestrian and bike safety, walkable streets, and the current state of Miami-Dade&#8217;s transit ecosystem.  Ideas sessions to directly follow discussion.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The newest gallery to open in Miami, <a href="http://www.c-artgallery.com/">C-Art Gallery</a>, in collaboration with the prestigious <a href="http://www.marlboroughgallery.com/">Marlborough Gallery</a> in New York, is pleased to present  “Reflections.” Curated by Kosme de Baraños, the show will take place at <a href="http://www.oascaniogallery.com/OA/INDEX.html">O. Ascanio Gallery</a>, located at 2600 NW 2<sup>nd </sup>Avenue in Wynwood, as a “pop-up” exhibition, as the gallery will reveal its permanent home at a later date.</p>
<p>For his first solo exhibition in Miami, <a href="http://www.davidrodriguezcaballero.com/">David Rodriguez Caballero</a> presents thirty aluminum, brass and vinyl art works. His characteristic aluminum and brass pieces are from his metal series, while his vinyl works form part of an independent series that juxtaposes different layers of monochrome acetate resulting in a paint-like finish. The exhibit is comprised of geometric abstractions, wall installations and freestanding sculptures, taking spectators on a journey through the artist’s transition from three-dimensionality to sculpture.</p>
